Executive Team

Tinklyn, a grade 12 student at Magee Secondary, is ecstatic to be appointed as the Executive Director of Operations at Project Hastings Foundation. During the challenging times of the pandemic, Tinklyn had a profound encounter that forever changed her perspective. She met a courageous 9-year-old cancer survivor who inspired her with their resilience and determination. This encounter ignited a deep-seated passion within Tinklyn, motivating her to take action and make a difference: the excitement is in getting to know the communities that her work will impact and seeing how her efforts can help people on as close to an individual level as she can get.

Ryan Li is a Grade 12 student at Prince of Wales Secondary School who is passionate about improving his community. Serving as the Executive Director of Projects for the 2023-24 term, he organizes distribution events and manages Project Hastings’ vast volunteering reserves. Through this role, he hopes to utilize his strong leadership and interpersonal skills to provide essential items to some of Vancouver’s most vulnerable residents.  In his free time, 

Ryan is cheering on the Vancouver Canucks and skiing in the local mountains. He looks forward to working with his fellow volunteers to make Vancouver a more livable city for all.

Jeeahn, a grade 12 student from Burnaby North Secondary School, serves as the Chief of Staff at Project Hastings, and is responsible for managing all hiring processes, as well as the well-being of other executives, directors, and volunteers. She works towards fostering an inclusive environment within the organization. Beyond work, Jeeahn is passionate about providing support to those in need. Dedicated to propelling Project Hastings toward success, she brings a blend of leadership, strategic vision, and operational finesse to the table. 

Genevieve Kwok is currently a senior high school student at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School. She joined Project Hastings with the aim to uplift the quality of life of residents of the DTES through the organization's 2023-2024 initiatives. As Project Hastings' Executive Director of Finance, Genevieve is responsible for managing finances and budgeting, utilizing softwares such as QuickBooks, Excel, and Jotform to communicate and project relevant financial data. 

Braden, a grade 12 student at Magee Secondary, is distinguished by his unwavering commitment to excellence. Guided by a philosophy of continuous improvement, he remains motivated by dedicated work in all his endeavors. Beyond the academic sphere, Braden is a competitive archer, emphasizing precision and discipline in his training. Adding depth to his profile, he serves as the Executive Director of Legal Affairs for Project Hastings, underscoring his dedication to community leadership. With a composed work ethic and a discerning eye for quality, Braden navigates the realms of academics, competitive archery, and community service while embodying a poised and purposeful approach to his diverse pursuits.
