Aarav is incredibly passionate about helping Vancouver’s local communities. He has been with Project Hastings for over a year, and has developed empathy for members of the Downtown Eastside. As Executive Director of Operations, he hopes to make a stronger and larger impact.

In addition to his love for cycling, Sam also enjoys backcountry mountaineering and showcasing his diverse interests and athleticism. In his capacity as the Executive Director of Projects, Umar spearheads distribution initiatives and coordinates Project Hastings' extensive team of volunteers. Through this position, he aims to leverage his exceptional leadership abilities and interpersonal aptitude to deliver crucial support to the marginalized communities and the disadvantaged within Vancouver.

Mavis Kam is an outgoing, determined, and energetic individual with a passion for business, community service, and creativity. With years of experience in leadership, fundraising, and entrepreneurship, she has dedicated their time to make a positive impact through this initiative, Project Hastings. Beyond her work as Finance Executive, she loves to spend her time drinking coffee, going on walks, and dancing! She holds a lifelong dream of building a career in New York. Grace, a grade 12 student at Magee Secondary, is honored to be appointed the Executive of Legal Affairs and Head of Media and Grants at Project Hastings. Existing within queer and disempowered communities, Grace was shaped to examine systems of power and its harmful intersectional ramifications. With this, Project Hastings is the amalgamation of her ability to champion on the ground activism, and to challenge broader societal narratives that serve to harm already harmed communities. She is extremely excited to work with local community members and connect on an individual level with the people she serves.

Christian is a grade 12 student at Magee Secondary, who is passionate about being an active member of his community and serving those around him. As a soccer player, volleyball player and a member of student council Christian prides himself on being an all rounder. When he's not playing sports or at school, Christian helps by leading Project Hastings as the Executive Director of Communications for the 2024-25 year. In charge of community outreach, Christian works on improving Project Hasting's online presence in hopes of reducing the stigma surrounding the unhoused crisis and raising awareness for the cause.
